I’d Like To
Hire A Coach, But. . .
Can You Answer Some Questions First?
Q: I don’t really have any problems, but I have some goals
I can’t seem to achieve on my own. Can a coach work with
me to achieve these goals?
A: Yes. The coaching relationship with the client is based on the
client’s goals and agenda.
Q: I’m seeing a therapist. Can I see a coach at the same
time?
A: We recommend that perspective clients wrap up their work with
their therapist before hiring a coach.
Q: I wouldn’t call my marriage “in trouble”,
but I’d like someone to bounce things off of. Also, I’d
like to make sure I’m doing all I can to make my marriage
a great one.
Q: Can a coach work with me to achieve these goals?
A: Yes. Coaches work well to proactively plan marital goals even
if it is just one individual in the marriage that participates in
the session.
Q: I’ve always wanted to start my own business, but for
whatever reasons, I just can’t get to it. Can a coach work
with me to get my business going?
A: Yes. This is a key goal for many of our clients. We work with
this type of client from the obstacles, goals to the paperwork needed
to make it official.
Q: Do the coaches at LifeQuest do public speaking and seminars?
A: Yes we do. Please contact us for subjects and coaches available.
Q: Does any body at LifeQuest do corporate coaching?
A: Depending on the need within a corporation, we have certain
subjects and specialties that we can coach within a corporation.
This includes managerial and leadership goal setting, etc. Please
call for further details.
Q: I am making a major life change and I am struggling through
the process. Can a coach work with me through this time?
A: Life and Professional Transitions are one of our specialties.
There are some very helpful sources and management systems that
a coach and client can work with to achieve a successful transition.
Q: Are coaches confidential like therapists are?
A: Yes. Coaches have the same confidentiality standards as therapists
do.
Q: Do you work with clients who have short term goals or only
large ones?
A: The coaches at LifeQust want to accommodate the client’s
goals. The time it takes to achieve a goal is based on the client’s
work and the goal they want to achieve.
